After Sixth Form

Qualifications gained as a result of studying at South Wirral High School Sixth Form may lead to many exciting opportunities.

After successfully completing 3 or possibly 4 subjects to A2 Level, students may decide to apply for a place at university to study for a qualification at degree level. There is a dedicated member of staff at South Wirral High School to assist students with their university applications. We also give students opportunities to experience the world of Higher Education as part of our Aim Higher project in order that they make informed decisions about further study after Sixth Form.
Many students enter the world of work after two years of study or possibly after the completion of one year courses. We work closely with Connexions to give students the best possible advice in order to secure employment opportunities.
Some of our students enter other courses, particularly in vocational training, at other institutions.

South Wirral High School Sixth Form does its best to ensure all of its students have access to all possible opportunities open to them upon the successful completion of their chosen courses.
