Little Princess Trust – Fundraising…

A group of South Wirral High School students are bravely taking part in a sponsored haircut to raise money for the 'Little Princess Trust' - a charity that provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment. The charity is particularly close to our hearts as we have a student who has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. In Memory Of Christopher Farwell

Christopher Farwell the first Headteacher of Eastham Secondary when the school opened on the present South Wirral High School site in 1969, died last month aged 84. Mr Farwell was a much respected Headteacher who established the new school, with a radical curriculum, in the forefront of educational thinking. Former students will not only remember Mr Farwell, who was Headteacher from 1969 to 1984, but also his wife Mrs Farwell who taught music.
